LIVINGTON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) - A Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputy vehicle was struck by an intoxicated driver during a traffic stop on August 14.

Deputies were conducting the stop outside of their vehicle on US-23 at the time of the incident.

Fortunately, no one was inside the patrol car when it was hit, and no injuries were reported.

The driver, who registered a blood alcohol content of 0.20, was arrested at the scene for Operating While Intoxicated.
