Boil advisory issued for Richland and Hatfield

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - Reo Water has announced a boil advisory has been issued for Richland and Hatfield.

Officials say there is a main break at the water treatment plant that is affecting the towns of Richland and Hatfield. Officials say they are currently out assessing and fixing the situation. Reo water says once the leak has been fixed, there will be a boil advisory issued for these residents.

Officials ask for people to boil their water for at least 10 minutes before cooking or drinking.
