Testing and maintenance will close the Martin Luther King, Jr. Bridge to motor vehicles for about four hours starting midmorning Tuesday, the Toledo Department of Transportation said.

The bridge will close to traffic starting at 9:30 a.m. and reopen around 1:30 p.m. A posted detour will use Summit Street, the Craig Memorial Bridge, and Front Street.

Separately, utility projects will affect two local streets on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Westwood Avenue will have new lane closings between Hawkins and Hartwell streets, while 145th Street will be closed at Edgewater Drive. Local access will be maintained via 149th and 324th streets during the latter closing, officials said.
