BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man is facing a felony charge after reportedly driving into a man on a motorcycle and leaving the scene.

Baton Rouge Police Department’s Uniform Patrol Officers responded to the crash on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Investigators believe the motorcycle was hit around 9:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of South Sherwood Forest Blvd., at the intersection of North Harrels Ferry Road.

The man driving the Kawasaki Motorcycle, Scotty Greensberry, 39, died after being taken to the hospital.

Traffic Homicide Division detectives launched an investigation.

Detectives were notified of a call coming in around 11:30 p.m. from a man claiming to have been involved in the crash.
