LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Summerlin South Little League team is coming home to a parade after an incredible run in the Little League World Series.

On Wednesday, the community is invited to gather at Downtown Summerlin to celebrate the team. The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. and will be hosted by Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys.

Summerlin South represents the state of Nevada and the Mountain Region after the team made its way through local and regional tournaments before heading to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. While the team fell short in the World Championship against Chinese Taipei, Summerlin South secured the title of U.S. champions.
