SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Savannah Police Department (SPD) posted on its X account Tuesday morning that a sinkhole had been discovered.

The sinkhole was discovered at the intersection of Country and Iantha just east of Skidaway Road.

SPD asks that commuters use Sunset as an alternate route until further notice.
