The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department in the disappearance of Jimmie Dale Blackmon of Monticello.

Mr. Blackmon was last seen driving a 2014 gray Nissan Frontier on Monday around 10 p.m. in the 100 block of E.E. Hedgepeth Road. The vehicle bears the license plate LW2 598.

He was last seen wearing a T-shirt, jeans and glasses. He currently has a sore on his nose. Mr. Blackmon is 5’9″ tall, 180 lbs, and he is bald with blue eyes.
