A driver with four outstanding warrants was arrested by the Picayune Police Department after he failed to stop at a stop sign.
According to PPD, Justin Stokes ran the stop sign at Telly Road and Highway 11 on Monday around 4 p.m., drawing the attention of local officers to his black Toyota Camry.
Detectives conducted a traffic stop at Hwy 11 near Mitchell Street.
When it was verified that Stokes had outstanding warrants for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, probable cause to search the vehicle was established. The search allegedly uncovered approximately 10 grams of marijuana.
Stokes was allegedly also found to have almost five grams of crack cocaine “located in the rear of his underwear,” according to PPD.
