ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Rodney Freeman has lived off Belcroft in north St. Louis County for almost 20 years.

“The attic got tore up, so you got a lot of structural damage. The house shifted on the foundation,” Freeman said.

Monday’s house explosion down the street has him figuring out where to move his wife, his son starting his senior year of high school, and his daughter entering sixth grade.

“It means everything. It’s where I raised my family. It’s the first house I bought,” Freeman said.

He told First Alert 4 Investigates his house has significant structural damage to the foundation, and one wall is now leaning because of the blast.

“We are allowed to go back inside, but they got parts condemned. But we can’t stay here,” Freeman said.
