SPRINGFIELD, MO. — On Monday, Aug. 25, Itty Bitty City released a statement on Facebook announcing they will be closing their doors starting in September.

Sunday, Aug. 31, will be the last day that the indoor play center will be in operation.

Owner Alex Haley expressed that it "has been so much more than just a business — it has been my dream, my heart, and my baby."

She is also grateful to the families that have supported Itty Bitty City throughout the years.

"Thank you for letting me be part of your little one’s childhood, for believing in this dream of mine, and for filling Itty Bitty City with so much love and joy," the statement read.

During its final week, people are encouraged to stop by and "share a smile, take a photo, and make on last memory here together."
