CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)– The Cranston League for Cranston’s Future (CLCF) announced the completion of additions and renovations to make their building ADA-compliant on Tuesday.
Highlights of the newly upgraded building, the nonprofit organization says, include a new common area, gym floor, bathrooms and bleachers, as well as renovated doorways.
CLCF broke ground on the addition in October of 2023.
In attendance at the celebration of the renovations was Sen. Jack Reed, who participated in sports at CLCF growing up.
To honor his achievements, the organization presented him with a football jersey with his old number– 12– on it.
