LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE)– Lincoln police arrested two Woonsocket residents after an officer noticed a bag being thrown out a car window just prior to a routine traffic stop.

According to the department, the officer was pulling over Joshua Withee, 47, and his passenger Amanda Bergeron, 34, when the bag was thrown out of the car window.

Other officers recovered the bag, which contained 19 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 12 grams of suspected powder cocaine, according to the LPD.

Both Withee and Bergeron face charges of possession with intent to deliver, with Withee facing an additional charge of driving on a suspended license.
