HURON, S.D. (KELO) -- It won't be long before fairgoers start flocking to the South Dakota State Fair.
The fun is about ready to begin.

The rides and carnival are almost ready to go, and campers and farming equipment are out in full force. It also looks like the weather will cooperate the next few days, but that wasn't the case as crews were setting up.
"It has been a wet couple weeks. We certainly appreciate all of our campers and vendors that have worked with us. We did ask for some people to maybe delay moving in a day or two because of all the rain that we did have, so we're very appreciative of that, but things are drying up
