Boy, 12, begs mum to end his life after horror accident during school holidays

A schoolboy begged his mum to let him die after being engulfed in flames in a horrific incident. Hunter Jory, 12, was playing with friends in a field during the school holidays when tragedy struck.

One child lit a small fire and another threw a petrol can onto the flames, causing a massive explosion that set Hunter alight.

The youngster managed to run to the house of a nearby friend, who alerted his mum, Kim. She quickly took him to a nearby doctor's surgery while waiting for an ambulance.

Kim, from Sheffield, revealed her son was in such agony he begged her to end his suffering. "It was heartbreaking," Kim, 38, said.
