A man has been arrested after a property was smashed up in the city over the bank holiday weekend. Police were called to the scene of a disturbance on Manor Street in Stonehouse just after 6pm on Sunday, August 24.

A man was seen behaving aggressively before police spoke to him. Officers said that furniture had been damaged within a property.

A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has since been released on bail until October 4.

At the time of the incident, a witness told PlymouthLive there was a large police presence in the area. They said: "Armed police in the city. Heavy police presence on Manor Street".
