PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - A verdict is now pending in a horrific case involving a woman accused of killing two children and hiding their remains in Pueblo early last year.

Corena Minjarez’s fate is now in the hands of the jury, who began deliberations in her murder trial late Monday. Following a full day of deliberations Tuesday, the jury will reconvene Wednesday.

The case began in January 2024 after the remains of a child were discovered inside a metal container stashed in a storage unit in Pueblo. She was later identified as 3-year-old Yesenia Dominguez.
