GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Bishop David L. Ricken issued the following statement in response to the Catholic School shooting that occurred Wednesday morning in Minneapolis:

As many of our Catholic Schools begin their academic year today, we are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the shootings at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minneapolis, MN.

Please join with me in offering prayers for the victims, their families and all those who were killed and injured in this senseless act of violence. Our hope remains steadfast in Jesus, as we mourn with the entire People of God.
