LA CROSSE, Wis. (Northern News Now) - Vice President JD Vance will is scheduled to visit La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Thursday.
According to the Vice President’s press secretary, Vance will visit a steel fabricating facility.
He is also expected to speak about the impact of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” on American manufacturing.
He is also expected to talk about tax cuts for working families and businesses.
Meanwhile, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers spoke Tuesday about the negative impacts the bill will have on funding for rural Wisconsin communities.
“It was bad legislative policy. The chief executive, the president, has the right to do whatever he thinks he was elected to do. But Congress has to play a role in all this, and they sort of just rolled over on it,” said Governor Tony Evers.
