OROVILLE, Calif. - A Sutter Creek man was taken into custody by the Butte County Sheriff's Office after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of narcotics and bass knuckles.
Authorities say that at around 12:32 a.m. Monday, deputies from the Butte County Sheriff’s Office pulled over 45-year-old Erik McNabb's vehicle in the area of Highway 162 and Forbestown Road for a vehicle code violation.
During the traffic stop, deputies noticed open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle. A further search of McNabb's vehicle revealed methamphetamine, a glass pipe with residue, and brass knuckles.
McNabb was arrested and booked into the Butte County Jail for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of brass knuckles.
