FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The first window to apply for funds to help individuals and families overcome opioid and substance addiction in Fort Wayne opens Tuesday.
Earlier this year, Fort Wayne Mayor Sharon Tucker and the Fort Wayne City Council created the National Opioid Settlement Committee. Its members include:

Theresa Juillerat (mayoral Appointment)
Rebecca Karcher (mayoral Appointment)
Michelle Rowland (mayoral Appointment)
Andrew Teel (mayoral Appointment)
Pat Turner (council Appointee)
Jayme Yates (council Appointee)
The city’s opioid settlement payments are scheduled to run through 2038. Members of the committee are tasked with making recommendations on how to use the funds, as well as exploring causes for, responses to, and education
