A “permanent fix” to solve a Leicestershire anti-social behaviour hotspot is being looked at by police. Officers spoke out after multiple vehicles have been seized in recent days at the site.
Last Sunday (August 31), officers from Leicestershire Police discovered a car driving at "warp speed" in Diseworth Road, Castle Donington , an area close to East Midlands Airport . That same night saw police saw a further two vehicles - a motorbike and a blue Vauxhall Corsa - also seized by police for reported anti-social behaviour.
According to police, the incidents have been keeping local residents “awake at night”, with the reported "warp speed" car's exhaust “popping and banging” in the area. In the wake of the latest reports, officers said that they were speaking with highway officers
