On Friday at 12:58 a.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid between noon and 8 p.m. for Niagara and Erie counties.

The weather service states, "Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected."

"Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few isolated power outages may result," comments the weather service. "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects."
