A man who carried out a series of violent and sexual crimes in northern Scotland has been jailed for 16 years.
Stephen Whitehurst, 44, was found guilty of 13 offences, including rapes, against five women at the High Court in Dundee last month.
His crimes occurred in Moray , Fife and Dundee over an 18-year period between 2006 and 2024.
He was sentenced on Friday at the same court to 16 years in prison, placed on the sex offenders register and given indefinite non-harassment orders in relation to all five women.
