CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A janitor at an elementary school in Cranston was arrested Thursday after he was allegedly found with fentanyl, 12 News has learned.

Police said school officials were going to terminate 42-year-old Anthony DeSimone after he was found sleeping.

When DeSimone woke up, he reportedly got into a fight with human resources staff. Police said they discovered the drugs when they went to collect his belongings.
