Officers on patrol in West Bridgford
Nottinghamshire Police says anti-social behaviour from youths in West Bridgford has decreased after issues including supermarket staff being abused and arson. The force says shoplifting and damage to park play equipment are also among the issues that led the local council to spend £5,000 on extra security measures.
Eight children were identified and referred to a Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue education scheme after minor arson incidents around Bridgford Park. Eleven young people aged from 12 to 16 were issued with a community resolution order in August, with a referral to 'immediate justice'.
