Police in Prince George had a lot on their plate Friday. The day had started with “full-scale building fires and motor vehicle incidents involving ambulances,” said RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
Add to the chaos a full-grown man, allegedly drunk, rolling through Fifteenth Street traffic. In a teeny tiny toy car.
“This was during the morning commute, around 9 a.m., and the streets were very busy at the time,” explained Cooper in a news release on Monday. “Our police officer conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle to assess what was happening.”
The car might have been made for kids. But when it entered the road with other traffic, it became a vehicle like any other — subject to all the legal implications that go with that.
