The Manitoba government is investing more than $946,000 in new annual funding to expand services and advance its five-year fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) strategy, Families Minister Nahanni Fontaine announced on FASD Awareness Day.

The new funding increases total annual spending on FASD programs to $5.6 million, supporting expanded family support, counselling, cultural services, and community education. Initiatives include:
