Footage shows a stolen primary school minibus engulfed in flames last night.

Firefighters were called to reports of a vehicle alight off Sheppey Way, near the Sheppey Crossing, just before 11pm.

Two fire engines attended and crews put it out before leaving just after midnight.

It is believed the minibus belonged to Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School in Wouldham.

The caretaker at the school discovered it had been taken when he arrived there yesterday morning (September 9) and found the gate open and the padlock cut.

CCTV showed a lone intruder entering the yard shortly after midnight and driving the vehicle away. It is the second theft of a minibus from the school in three months.
