ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The National Fireworks Association is getting Northwest Arkansas prepared for the United States' 250th Independence Day with a fireworks show expo and business meeting in Rogers.

All week, the trade show allowed businesses to get a peek at the new and up-and-coming fireworks for next year's festivities. The event also has economic impacts on the community.

"We're eating out at the restaurants, taking clients out for nice dinners every night, fueling the cars, multiple flights a day in and out," said Ed Vasel, vice president of the National Fireworks Association. "We do our best to work with the community any way that we can."
