HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors take on the Portland State University Vikings on homecoming.

The ‘Bows are coming off a bounce-back win over Sam Houston , and look to continue the momentum for Saturday’s homecoming game at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

It’s the seventh time in program history that the ‘Bows and the Vikings are facing off.

The ‘Bows have won five of their previous matchups against the Vikings, with their only loss coming in 2000, which happened to be Head Coach Timmy Chang’s freshman year.

However, the ‘Bows have been successful on homecoming night and have won six of the last seven homecoming games, with Coach Chang’s squad going 2-1.
