Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks limped off the field with just over a minute left in the third quarter during the Gators’ matchup against LSU on Saturday, Sept. 13.

The senior defensive lineman needed help off the field after LSU completed a 1-yard pass in the third quarter with LSU leading Florida 20-10. Banks, who was spotted on crutches, did not record any tackles during the game.

Banks previously missed the Gators’ first two games of the season after sustaining a lower-leg injury during fall camp. However, the senior was not featured on the SEC injury reports earlier in the week.

“Caleb Banks is a force,” said Florida head coach Billy Napier in a press conference earlier this week. “He’s one of the best defensive linemen in the country.
