ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A major law enforcement operation led to the detainment of over 100 fugitives across Georgia, federal officials said.

On Thursday, FBI Atlanta and the U.S. Marshals Service detailed “Operation No Escape,” which led authorities to bring 123 suspects into custody. The individuals are accused of crimes ranging from assault, murder, manslaughter, drugs and fraudulent activity.

“Among them, 31 were wanted for crimes in Atlanta, 25 from DeKalb County, 10 from Henry County, and four from Gwinnett,” FBI Atlanta Special Agent in Charge Paul Brown said.

The operation extended to other areas like Columbus, Macon, Athens, Augusta, Savannah, and northeast Georgia.
