DUBLIN, Ga. — Mrs. Pamela Woodard has been teaching for 30 years and currently teaches 4th and 5th grade math at Irish Gifted Academy in Dublin. Her students say she makes learning fun and always finds ways to help them understand even the trickiest math problems.
5th grader Kaiden Smith made sure his voice was heard — sending both a letter and an email to nominate Mrs. Woodard. In his nomination, he shared that her classroom feels like an extension of his family.
“She feels like an actual mother when we come to school,” Kaiden said. “She is also the funniest person I ever met, even though I only go to her class every day for 55 minutes. It's sad because I wish I could have her class all day.”
