The Midtown building housing hotel Aloft Nashville West End has sold for $25 million, with the seller seemingly having taken a loss.

With 139 rooms and once accommodating a Hotel Indigo, the building stands 10 floors and sits at 1719 West End Ave. A five-story parking garage (painted blue) is part of the property.

According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, the new owner is an LLC affiliated with Capinteria, Calif.-based boutique commercial real estate company Somera Capital Management LLC.

The seller was Corebridge REI Nashville Hotel Investor LLC. Metro property records note the most recent owner was an LLC affiliated with AIG Global Real Estate (AIGGRE), which paid $34.75 million for the property in late 2015 (read here ). C
