MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A popular concert venue in the East Valley was evacuated on Thursday night because of a possible leak.

According to police, about 500 people were inside the Nile Theater on Main Street in downtown Mesa when there was some sort of leak. One person passed out, so officers were called out to the venue.

Police said they got reports of a few others who felt dizzy, including a firefighters.

First responders did a hazmat sweep and it came back clean. Police said they didn’t have any reports of injuries. Everyone was allowed back inside.

Arizona’s Family News chopper was over the scene, which showed hundreds of people outside. There was a group in the front and the back of the venue. Several first responder trucks and SUVs were on the scene as well.
