CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A section of Highway 905 in Conway remains closed while crews battle a fire at the historic Atlantic Coast Line Railroad Depot.

The Conway Fire Department was dispatched at about 4:15 a.m. Monday. Highway 905 remains closed from Kingston Street to Country Club Drive.

The depot was built in 1928 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Horry County Fire Rescue is assisting. Authorities have asked everyone to avoid the area.
