A veteran investigative journalist has been named interim local news editor of The Times of Northwest Indiana.

Analisa Trofimuk, 30, assumes command of The Times newsroom after spending the past few years undertaking investigative reporting projects for The Times’ parent company, Lee Enterprises, as a member of the company’s national Public Service Journalism Team.

Trofimuk’s work with the investigative reporting team included leading projects in partnership with Northwest Indiana reporters.
