WINONA, Minn. — At a time when YouTube wasn’t much of a thing, physical therapist Bob Schrupp started making videos in his basement to help people alleviate pain or live pain-free lives. In the early years, the “Bob & Brad” videos struggled to find an audience, and Schrupp almost gave up on the whole thing.
But then they caught fire. Today, the wildly successful “Bob & Brad” YouTube show has more than 5.3 million subscribers, there are some 4,000 videos online and it has grown into a corporate entity with a line of pain-relief products sold in thousands of Walmart stores and online.
Schrupp, 65, of Winona died on Aug. 6. Years earlier, Schrupp was diagnosed with cerebellar ataxia, a neurological disorder that affects speech and balance. Although the condition forced Schrupp to diminish
