RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — An investigation is underway after shots were fired in the parking lot of a strip club in Raleigh Tuesday morning, police said.

The incident happened just before noon at Rick's Cabaret in the 3200 block of Yonkers Road, near Interstate 440. Shell casings were found at the scene, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

According to Raleigh police, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and struck a building before officers arrived.

Police said no injuries were reported.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing. As of Tuesday afternoon, the identity of the suspect is unknown.
