RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Police officers in Raleigh recently corralled themselves a “baaaa-d” sheep.

The Animal Control Unit picked up a stray sheep in the north Raleigh area, police said on Tuesday. Police shared two photos of the sheep, which is described as a female.

She's now on a 10-day stray hold as officers try to locate her owner, police said.

“Please share to help spread the word!” the Raleigh Police Department wrote on its Facebook page.

The owner is asked to contact the Animal Control Unit at 919-996-1449.
