(WJW) – Anyone who purchased a Poppi beverage over the last five years is eligible for a payment in a class action suit, but time is running out to file.

Poppi is paying out $8.9 million over claims its prebiotic drink was gut healthy.

Poppi's former owner, VNGR Beverage, LLC, agreed to settle claims that the beverages were improperly marketed, in July 2025.

The deadline to submit a claim is Thursday, Sept. 26.

Who is eligible for the settlement?

With proof of purchase, customers who bought Poppi between Jan. 30, 2025, and July 18, 2025, may receive cash back.

Here's how much customers are eligible to receive, according to the claims website. • Up to $0.75 per single can • $3 per four-pack • $6 per eight-pack • $9 per 12- or 15-pack
