JANESVILLE, Wis. — A man was arrested in Wisconsin after he fired a gun in a vehicle with others inside.

Around 3:20 a.m. on Sept. 23, Janesville Police officers were called to the 1600 block of Milton Ave. for reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they talked with a woman who said that while sitting inside her parked vehicle, she started arguing with a man, later identified as Daniel Cordova.

During the argument, Cordova took out a gun and fired a shot inside the vehicle. Two children were in the backseat at the time. No one was injured.

Cordova left the vehicle and was picked up by another person before officers got there. The City of Delavan Police Department and the Walworth County Sheriff's Office both helped locate him. He was taken into custody around 4:45 a.m. in the 1800
