SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) -We are monitoring 2 areas in the tropics, Invest 93L and 94L located in the south central Atlantic and near the Leeward Islands. Both of these systems have a high chance of developing into named storms over the next several days.

Right now it appears that 93L (90% chance) will follow a similar path as Gabrielle as Erin did a while back staying well east of the U.S.

Invest 94L which is near the leeward islands in the Caribbean has a 70% chance for development over the next 5 days as it tracks toward the west, NW moving toward the Bahamas.

Comparing the most reliable forecast models, the GFS and EURO, they are showing considerable differences in their forecasts of the two systems.
