A 28-year-old Norfolk County man is facing drug-related charges following a traffic stop near Simcoe.

Norfolk County OPP stopped a vehicle just after 2 a.m. on Sept. 24 on McDowell Road East.

Police say cannabis was seen inside the vehicle, which led officers to conduct a search and discover suspected cocaine.

The accused is charged with h ave care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available; possess unmarked cigarettes; possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
