(FOX40.COM)— U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced on Thursday that a former Sacramento man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport stolen property.

Trevor Christopher Fountain, 38, worked with three other Sacramento residents to illegally enter communications towers and steal rectifiers and other communication equipment, according to Grant. Rectifiers are power sources necessary to maintain power at communications towers.

Stephan James Evanovich, 46, Jonathan Matthew Curl, 36 and Andrea Carter, 35, were involved alongside Fountain, who was responsible for stealing equipment. Evanovich would then pay him for the stolen items, officials said.
