NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Hundreds of road projects across the state could take longer to finish or even come to a halt after state lawmakers failed to pass funding earlier this year. The Asphalt Pavement Association of New Mexico says the impact could be severe, leading to hundreds of construction workers being out of jobs and contributing to poorly maintained roads that won’t be fixed.
