Two critically injured in St George caravan arson attack View 2 Images

Two people have been seriously injured in a caravan fire last night in Bristol. The fire is being treated as arson.

A member of the public spotted the fire on Bell Hill Road, St George , and rang the police at about 10.25pm.

Avon Fire and Rescue and South Western Ambulance Service also attended.

Two men were rescued from an adjacent home.

They remain in hospital in a critical condition in hospital.

A man, in his 50s, was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life this morning.

Avon and Somerset Police remain at the scene and we are working alongside the fire service with investigation work to establish what happened.
