SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Community Partnership of the Ozarks (CPO) announces that the Safe & Sober Program is now officially a part of CPO’s Prevention & Youth Support Division.
Safe & Sober is a proven prevention initiative that has empowered students and schools for more than two decades.
It was founded in 2004 by Springfield attorney Kurt Larson; Safe & Sober provides free, prevention-focused videos and curriculum to middle schools, high schools, and other youth-serving organizations across the country.
The program equips students to make safe, healthy choices around underage drinking, impaired driving, vaping, prescription misuse, and related challenges, while also addressing root causes such as stress, depression, and anxiety.
Over the last 21 years, Safe & Sober has been in 459 schools
