MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It appears the Memphis Safe Task Force has hit the streets with hundreds of law enforcement officers.

While many in Memphis praise the effort, some question the tactics being used.

WREG obtained video of what appears to be a task force arrest at an apartment complex on Jackson Avenue overnight.

Aja Stephens still rattled by the law enforcement presence in the parking lot of The Villages apartments on Jackson Avenue early Tuesday morning.

"Living in Memphis I've never seen nothing like that happen. I've seen people get arrested but the way, how heavy a force they used," Stephens said.

Stephens recorded officers from multiple agencies attempting to talk an Hispanic driver out of his vehicle.
