MORGAN CITY, La. (KLFY) -- A Morgan City man was a arrested following a narcotics search at a residence on Birch Street, police said.

Police said they arrested Michael Anthony Noel, 53, of Morgan City and charged him with the following: • Possession with intent to distribute Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Synthetic Marijuana and Hydrocodone • Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Sales • Violation of Uniform CDS Drug Free Zone • Distribution of Cocaine • Distribution of Fentanyl • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

The arrest was the result of a long-term investigation into Noel's involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics, including Fentanyl, Cocaine and Methamphetamine, police said.
